The basic sound is muted to a very soft level, which is ideal for hotel rooms etc. The complete range of the tenor trombone plays incredibly good with a wonderful intonation in both the lower and higher registers.

This product meets my expectations. Visually it is a beautiful product. It is whole and fits well in my tenor trombone.
I live in an apartment so I am happy with this. During rehearsals you have a good sound in your ears with this mute. You know what you are doing on the trombone. Has a perfect intonation, high or low.
