This is an excellent practice mute, one that is well in tune and blows well across all registers of the instrument. It's also very compact and easy to transport. I've found that it works very well for warm-ups, and even occasional full practice sessions if you find yourself in a situation where you cannot play at full volume. It's a real life saver for someone like me, who lives in an apartment with many neighbours nearby!
